Scarpa Delta GTX Activ

The Scarpa Delta GTX Activ is a 3 season boot and a very comfortable one too, with the Vibram Biometric sole and a Gore-Tex inner liner, weight is around 1520g so not the lightest of boots but not the heaviest either. I have used these boot for 15 months now so feel qualified to make my judgements known so its time to make a little review and tell you what I think. The boots have accumulated many miles and have been out on many Wildcamping trips over some harsh unforgiving ground and have served me well.  I often treat the boot with Nikwax Waterproofing Wax and have also used the Scarpa HS12 Cream. I have recently changed the rather worn out insoles for Sorbothane and I will see how these perform over the coming months. I definitely would recommend these boots for all year round use over boggy moorland terrain to walking the dog. Not overkill like some 4 season boots and they will do me for most icy winter trekking too with spikes.

I have made a video below which will explain things a bit more and you will see the current condition of the boot after over one year of hard use.
