Scotland 2014

I am not gonna go into to much detail in this blog I will let the video do the talking.
Myself and Rob had this October 2014 Scotland trip arranged for quite some time. The main aims were to visit Loch Ness and Wildcamp if possible which was one of Robs ambitions. The other plans were to hike up Ben Nevis which I missed out on last time whilst up this way and some Wildcamping on Isle of Skye was another.
Nevis didn’t happen again as weather had put us off. Isle of Sky didn’t happen because of reports of the Sky Bridge been closed due to high winds.

First night enroute we pitched at Loch Lubnaig after 5 hrs driving from the North East. This camp and last camp were missing from the video as it didnt make it to the final edit.
We spent a couple of really wet nights waiting a break in the weather for Nevis but then we decided to head over to the Cairngorms as the weather forcast was looking better over that way. We spend a night in a Bunkhouse in Aviemore where we made a visit to the Cairngorm Mountain Funicular Railway.

Plans up a height we decided as we couldn’t do Isle of Skye we would do Isle of Mull Instead. This was a last minute decision, checking the ferry costs we decided on taking one vehicle and leaving mine on the mainland. Talking to locals we were pointed to a place where I could park my car without charges for a few days.
Off we went to Mull to finish off our Journey. The rest is history.
